Discover the village of Moustiers Sainte Marie
only 600 m from the hotel the Colombier

The village which is one of the most beautiful villages in France.
Is buit in the shape of an amphi theatre in the rocks at 634 meters altitude.
A crevice from which a number of water falls are formed all add to the ambiance.
The first inhabitants were the Lérin munks.
Today the village counts around 630 inhabitants
You should hike up the path to the chapel Notre-Dame-de-Beauvoir which overlooks the village.
The view is breathtaking !
Between the 2 rocks above the chapel shines a star suspended in a 227 meters long chain.
The star has hung over Moustiers Sainte Marie for centuries.
Moustiers, one of the bigges centers for French earthware (faience), is visited from people around the world.
